What permissions will I need in Salesforce to connect to Owler Pro?

You don’t need to be a Salesforce admin to enable the Owler Pro / Salesforce integration. Owler Pro is designed to work seamlessly for individual sales professionals without any technical knowledge or access. By signing up, you’ll only be syncing your own personal accounts, leads, or opportunities in Salesforce using an OAuth certification token. 

 

Specifically, once you’re signed in to your Owler Pro account, you’ll see an option to link your Salesforce instance on your Followed Companies Tab below your followed companies list.

 

 

After logging in to Salesforce and allowing Owler Pro to access the accounts, leads, or opportunities you’d like to receive news about, you’ll start to receive news and alerts on those companies.
