Owler uses a mix of crawling, algorithms, machine learning, and human input to collect our data. 

Our preferred method is to add new companies from members' inputs. A member may add a company at any time by following these instructions. 

When a member inputs new data, we confirm the accuracy with our human data maintenance team, and add it to owler.com in 2-3 days. 

We also use internet crawling to look for new businesses we may not have in our database, then send them directly to our human data team to verify and expand the data, then add it to owler.com

Once on owler.com, our community inputs expand, refine, and sharpen our private company data accuracy over time.
